Should I rent a porta potty for a camp-out or RV weekend?

Rent a porta potty for a camp-out or RV gathering when more than a few people will share one RV toilet. A 20-foot camper's black tank fills fast with guests. For 30 campers over a weekend, plan 2 standard units, or 1 unit with a Saturday service visit; add a deluxe unit for families who want a sink.

From our call log

A family-reunion host planning a 30-person weekend camp-out said it plainly: "Don't need all that going into my house system." He booked one standard unit, dropped Friday near the bonfire area and picked up Tuesday — for crowds that size we now suggest a Saturday service visit too.

Questions renters ask us before booking

These questions come straight from real rental calls. Each answer starts with the short version, then the conditions that change it.

Do you pump out RV and camper holding tanks?

Yes. We pump RV and camper black- and gray-water tanks on site when our truck can park within about 50 feet. Pump-outs start at $175. Same-day pump-outs depend on routes; call (409) 230-8588 to check today's schedule.

Do you pump septic tanks?

No. We pump our own portable units and RV or camper holding tanks only. Residential septic systems need a licensed septic contractor. If your septic is down, we can drop a porta potty the same day so the house stays usable during repairs.

Is one porta potty enough for 30 guests?

Yes, for up to 4 hours. One standard unit covers 30 guests for a party or reunion of that length, especially when your house bathroom is open too. For an all-day or overnight event, add a second unit or a mid-event service. Pick a deluxe unit if food is served buffet-style.

My place has a dirt driveway or a long private drive. Can the truck get in?

Usually yes. Our service trucks handle gravel, dirt, and grass when it's dry and firm. Tell us about soft spots, ditches, or a narrow bridge. After heavy rain on the island, we may set the unit closer to the road so the truck doesn't get stuck.

Do you deliver to Bolivar Peninsula?

Yes. We deliver to Port Bolivar, Crystal Beach, and Gilchrist. Our trucks cross on the free TxDOT ferry, and peak waits can top 2 hours. Bolivar orders are scheduled for next-day delivery. Same-day is only possible early in the day when ferry lines are short.

Can I move the unit myself after it's delivered?

Please don't. A full unit can tip, leak, or crack when moved with a tractor, dolly, or truck. You're responsible for damage once it's on site. If the spot doesn't work, call us and the driver can reposition it on the next service or for a small trip fee.
