How many restrooms does a plant turnaround need?

A plant turnaround needs at least OSHA Table D-1 counts: 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers for crews of 20–199, and 1 per 50 at 200 or more. For a 300-person turnaround, that's a minimum of 6 seats and 6 urinals. Over long shifts we recommend about 1 unit per 10–15 workers with service several times a week.

Recommendation assumes 10–12 hour shifts; service frequency set by actual use.

Where is industrial demand around Galveston Bay?

Industrial restroom demand around Galveston Bay centers on Texas City, Pasadena, Deer Park and Baytown. Marathon's Galveston Bay Refinery in Texas City processes 631,000 barrels per day, and ExxonMobil's Baytown complex runs about 3,300 staff plus 4,000 contractors. Spring and fall turnarounds bring temporary workforces.

  • Texas City — refinery and petrochemical work

  • Port of Galveston and Pelican Island — dock and marine crews

How do you service units inside a plant gate?

We service units inside plant gates on a fixed schedule agreed with your site contact, with drivers who follow your gate check-in and badging process. Service days, unit locations, and counts are logged on each visit and shown on the invoice with your PO, so your site manager can reconcile by area.

  1. Kickoff call: crew counts by area, gate rules, laydown yard map.
  2. Delivery in phases as crews ramp up.
  3. Service 2–5×/week depending on use and heat.
  4. Add or pull units as headcount changes — one text to dispatch.
  5. Final pull and one consolidated invoice per PO.

From real customer calls

Questions renters ask us before booking

These questions come straight from real rental calls. Each answer starts with the short version, then the conditions that change it.

How many toilets does OSHA require on a construction site?

OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51 Table D-1 requires 1 toilet for 20 or fewer workers. For 20 to 199 workers, it's 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers. For 200 or more, it's 1 seat and 1 urinal per 50. That's the legal minimum; we recommend 1 unit per 10 workers with weekly service.

Can my company get invoices and an account?

Yes. Business renters get emailed invoices and an online customer portal with every order in one place. Tell us your PO or job number when you book and we'll print it on each invoice, so your office can match it to the right job.

Can I add an extra cleaning?

Yes. Extra service visits start at $85. Book them for busy jobsites, multi-day events, or summer heat. For festivals, the most requested slot is overnight between day one and day two, so the units are fresh when gates open.

Will a porta potty smell in Galveston's summer heat?

Heat speeds odor, and Galveston highs average 91–92°F in July and August. Shade, a vent facing the breeze, and twice-weekly service for busy units keep odor down. We add fresh deodorizer at every service and can schedule extra visits during heat waves.

How many handwashing stations do I need?

Use 1 handwashing station for every 1–10 toilets, 2 for 11–20, 3 for 21–30, and 4 for 31–40. That's the PSAI guideline. Food events and jobsites with paint, herbicide, or other contaminants need them close to the work.

Can I call for pickup when the job is done?

Yes. Most construction orders are set as "will-call" pickups. When the job wraps, call or text the date and the driver pulls the unit on the next route, usually within 1–2 business days. Billing stops at the end of that cycle.
