What does a restroom trailer need on site?

A restroom trailer needs four things: level ground, truck access for a trailer up to about 15 feet long with hitch, one 110–120V outlet on a 20–30 amp circuit, and a garden hose or enough onboard water. Without power and water, choose deluxe flushing porta potties instead.

From our call log

Both private-wedding callers asking about trailers already had power and a hose at the venue. Our team still asks every time, because an extension cord run over 100 feet or a shared circuit with a band can trip the trailer's lights and water pump mid-reception.

What does our restroom trailer look like?

These are real photos of our restroom trailer setups: outside, inside, and placed on site. Every unit is pumped, pressure-washed, sanitized and restocked before delivery, and event units come from a separate fleet from jobsite units, so what you see here is what arrives.

How many guests does a restroom trailer serve?

A 2-station restroom trailer serves roughly 150–250 guests for a 4–6 hour event. The waste tank, about 275–350 gallons, is the limit, not the number of stalls. Weddings over 200 guests with an open bar should step up to a 3- or 4-station trailer, or add a deluxe porta potty near the bar.

Is a restroom trailer worth it for a Galveston wedding?

A restroom trailer is worth it for Galveston weddings with 100+ guests, formal dress, or a venue without indoor restrooms. Guests get flushing toilets, running-water sinks, lights, mirrors, and air conditioning in the August heat. It's the wrong pick for loose beach sand, soft lawns after rain, or sites without power.

  • Beach weddings: trailers stay on the paved or hard-packed approach. Ask about beach-wedding restroom options.
  • Backyard weddings: we walk the access path with you to check gate width, slope, and overhead lines.
  • Venues without power: a generator can be arranged; mention it when you book.

How is a restroom trailer delivered and set up?

A restroom trailer is delivered the day before your event, leveled with jacks, connected to your outlet and hose, and tested with you or your planner. We stock it with toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. After the event, we drain, disconnect, and tow it out the next business day.

  1. Site check by phone or photos: ground, access, outlet distance, hose bib.
  2. Delivery the day before; driver levels and chocks the trailer.
  3. Power and water connected; lights, pumps and A/C tested.
  4. Optional attendant service for long events.
  5. Pickup next business day after draining and disconnecting.

Questions renters ask us before booking

These questions come straight from real rental calls. Each answer starts with the short version, then the conditions that change it.

Does a restroom trailer need water and electricity?

Yes. A restroom trailer needs one 110–120V outlet on a 20–30 amp circuit and, for most models, a garden hose. Trailers also need level ground and truck access. Without power and water, choose deluxe flushing units instead.

How many guests does a 2-station restroom trailer serve?

A 2-station restroom trailer serves roughly 150–250 guests for a 4–6 hour event. The trailer's waste tank, around 275–350 gallons, sets the limit. Weddings over 200 guests usually step up to a 3- or 4-station trailer or add a deluxe unit.

My event starts at 6 PM. Will it be there in time?

Yes. Drivers don't deliver after 5 PM, so evening events get their unit the day before or that morning. For a 6:30 PM event, booking a day-early drop-off removes all the timing risk at the same price.

Do you discount multiple units, nonprofits, or churches?

Yes. Orders of 3 or more units, nonprofit festivals, churches, and schools get multi-unit pricing. Tell us when you call and we'll itemize the savings on your quote. Repeat customers keep their account and pricing in our customer portal.

Can you supply restroom trailers and hand-wash stations for an emergency shelter?

Yes. Emergency managers, churches, and shelters can order restroom trailers, porta potties, and hand-wash stations. For a shelter, plan on about 1 toilet per 20 residents and a hand-wash station per cluster. Call — emergency orders are dispatched first.

Can I cancel my porta potty rental?

Yes. Cancel up to 24 hours before your scheduled delivery for a full refund. Inside 24 hours, the delivery fee may apply because the truck is already routed. Weather happens — call and we'll move your date instead of cancelling.
