Who is Peter Rental Works?
Peter Rental Works is the Galveston company behind Galveston Porta Potty Rentals. We rent, deliver, service, and pick up portable restrooms from our office at 5013 Avenue I, Galveston, TX 77551. Calls are answered Monday–Saturday, 7 AM–7 PM, by the team that schedules our drivers.
We started on the island because renters kept telling the same story: they called a national number, got a broker, and the unit showed up late or not at all. Our answer is simple — one local office, one phone number, and drivers who know which West End streets flood after a storm and which East End alleys a truck can't turn in.
How do you clean and inspect units?
Every unit is cleaned and inspected in 6 steps before it goes out: pump, pressure-wash inside and out, disinfect every touch surface, deodorize, restock, and check the door, latch, vent, and tank for damage. Event units are kept in a separate fleet from jobsite units so event guests get the cleanest stock.
- Pump the tank completely.
- Pressure-wash walls, floor, seat, urinal and exterior.
- Disinfect touch points: door handle, latch, seat, dispensers.
- Add fresh deodorizer to the tank.
- Restock toilet paper, sanitizer, soap and towels.
- Inspect latch, vent, roof and tank; tag any unit that fails.

How do you handle waste?
Waste from our units is hauled by registered transporters and unloaded only at permitted treatment facilities. In Texas, anyone hauling chemical toilet waste must register as a sludge transporter with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality under 30 TAC Chapter 312.
TCEQ program details: TCEQ sludge transporter registration.
What do we promise every renter?
We promise four things: an itemized quote before you pay, a driver call about 30 minutes before arrival, a clean and stocked unit or a free swap, and free cancellation up to 24 hours before delivery. If something goes wrong, you call the same local number that booked you.
- Itemized quote — no surprise fees after delivery
- Driver calls ahead; you can text placement photos
- Clean or swapped — your call
- Cancel free up to 24 hours before delivery
- Same local number for booking, service and pickup
How do we keep this website accurate?
We review prices, service areas, equipment, policies, and every cited rule on this website at least every 6 months. Specs come from manufacturer documents; rules link to OSHA, the U.S. Access Board, NOAA, TCEQ, and City of Galveston sources. Call data is anonymized: names, numbers, and addresses are removed.
